If you look back in time to that extent that all the industrial development imposed by third world disappear than you will see that honesty is on peak and hardworking is life (obviously for common man). In place of movie theatre you will find stage dramas and groups of adults surrounding a girl under “ghoonghat” and listening to her song. You will find well educated person adopting a career of tailor.
Changes? If you ask this question to me then I will say that:-
1. The originality “taan kaptaan” is not heard any more...but you can hear rock, pop and more.
2. You will find jeans which is much more uncomfortable than “kurta pajama”.
3. You will find numerous couples around—will feel like to be one of them.
4. And you will find...........hourrrr mai ye kya bake ja rah hoon, muzhe kuch aur hi bolna Tha.............................chalo ek baar aur suru karte hai
I was trying to say that we are changed so much that if a person from past travel in time and come to present he will feel sick and nostalgic. Why? Because I travelled the world and I know why we are differing from our culture and origin. Still not getting? Allow me........
Why people feel nostalgic? Because they feel that they are in a situation in which they won’t be able to construct a comfort zone.
Allow me to show you what type of hell we are heading to......I was in Australia for 3 months and I was feeling bored and NOSTALGIC....so it is for sure that the environment in a developed foreign country is not very good....and that culture is what we are adamant to impose on our culture. So I am sure after crossing 50 years age limit I will feel sick...sick to death because at that time we might have achieved our goal.
And this not only my opinion...one day in Perth I had a chat with one NRI couple living in Perth since 1992. They asked—“how do you feel here”---hiding my feeling I lied and said---“good..good....yes I am feeling good”---“wow! That’s good for you, as we are living here since 1992 and we are feeling sick....we are here only for money”. Every Indian there feels same.
One more thing about NRI’s....I have seen that all the Chinese guys living in Perth are having a friendly relationship with each other. Means, you will always find them in group but you will find Indians all alone. There is a lack of unity in Indians and in my opinion the probable cause of this is:-
In India we are living a “not so very good system” and that’s why we need support from each other. But we are not happy with everyone---- “he said that I have no idea about my work! sala mad******”---- .When we are suddenly moved to a system where we find no need of any support from anybody...we tend to ignore each other.
Apart from this about the firangies....they are honest...they are hardworking....they have their own ways of entertainment....they are happy with that and they are not going to change it....they do a job on interest basics...and the type of job doesn’t matters....they have (and more accurately “seems to have”) everything proper and positive in life.
So what is the problem?...where is this gap lies?....and how to solve this problem?......
The answer lies in the very first paragraph of this article. Guys we just have to look back in time.
